This multilayered translucent glazing technique brings exceptional depth and life to a room.
Just one of many styles we can create for you in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. This is a multilayered finish that uses several translucent glazes to create a look of depth not possible with solid/opaque paints or by other sponging faux techniques. The photos on this page are taken at different times of the day and show how this treatment changes considerably in different lighting. This same effect can be created using a wide range of colors not just the cool metal and warmer glazes used for this client.
These two photos were taken seconds apart to demonstrate how much this finish changes with the lighting. One with the over head lights on and the other without.
This first photo is early in the day while the second is after sunset.
